How We Got Frankie: We were walking down the street, and we saw a little black dog running around. My mom Told me she saw this little black dog, and I went down the street to see for myself. The dog was running around a toy apricot coloured poodle. The guy acted Frantic. I started chasing the little energetic dog. My mom went home and got a leash, the dog was heading in the woods, I thought I was going to get lost in the woods! Then as I headed into the dark, tick infested forest, I saw my mom approaching with the leash. We both ran into the forest and We soon found a corn field, I didn't know the little dog's name so I tried calling him things. We were so close to catching him many times, we ran through people's yards, in weeds, through the forest, everywhere.
Then in this one house he kept stopping at and drinking rain water, we were chasing him for over an hour, my mom grabbed the back of his scruff, and the dog Snapped. He eventually calmed down and then we got him on the leash. We walked him down the street. The little dog was nervous. When we got home we read his tags and I called the number, no one answered I left a message asking if that was their dog. I got a call back from a man who lived down the street and said it was his dog. When I was talking to him on the phone I didn't know he lived down the road, and I asked him if he lived in the city.
Then when we got Frankie home I was scard to touch him, but did, and he became friendly. Dave, Frankie's old owner, said he was busy and worked all day long, Dave also had a cockapoo, he hired me to walk his dogs. I got paid $20.00 a week, and walked them for a few mounths. Soon, Dave stopped paying me and then I sent him letters of annoyingness. So about a mounth or two later I called Dave and told him we were getting rid of our big dog because she is to hard to handle, Dave offered Frankie to me and said he'd consider giving him to me.
So after wondering, I finally got contacted by Dave's girlfriend, Wendy. Dave went to visit his borther for ten days, Weny eventually went to pick up Frankie for me. Then he got here. Dave's son, Sam, was upset to get rid of Frankie and trying to stop Dave from doing that. Wendy got the kids a new Hedgehog instead, they did not like it because they thought it was aggressive, Dave has a daughter, Carly, and a son, Sam. His kids only visit him every other sunday, Wendy told me they were over reacting about getting rid of Frankie.
It had only been a few days when I got a suprise visit from Sam. Dave's son. I took Frankie to see him, Frankie was all matted, really really bad, We were working on shaving him, Dave neglected his grooming needs. Frankie was half shaved. Sam started asking me stupid questions about Frankie, I wanted to know about Frankie's shot records so I went to ask Dave. Thats when Same tried running off with Frankie when I was trying to read a note on the door. I chased Sam, we got to Dave's house, Dave said he has to find the papers. Sam was stupid and said, "I wonder if Frankie would run if I dropped his leash..." so he dropped the leash and Frankie took off Across a Heavy Duty Road, 7th Ave, I caught him. Sam was telling me how calm he was, what an idiot. I went home and am never letting Sam near Frankie again. Since then, Frankie has been calm, behaved and well exersized with us. What an adventure.
