Yorkiepoos Are an active little dog. They are a cross between a Yorkshire Terrier and Poodle. Some Yorkiepoos are Cross between a miniture poodles, others are crossed with toy Poodes. Some are crossed with Yorkiepoos and poodles, some with Yorkiepoos and Yorkies. So some looks more Yorkie and act it, while others are more Poodle. My Yorkiepoo Frankie, is mostly poodle, hes active like a yorkie and friendly like a poodle. They come in diffrent colours, mine is black, some are apricot, others grey, and many other unlimited combinations.
They are active and always want to be in with the family, they are satisfied with a walk around the block and can releive energy inside. They are smart, because of poodle. They are good with children and animals too. They love dogs and are good with strangers. They are a good watchdog and will bark when there is someone there. They can range from diffrent sizes, 10lb-25, depending on if they were breed with a miniture poodle or a toy.
Yorkiepoos require alot of grooming, that is why Frankiepoo has a page all about grooming a dog, They have an undercoat and a uppercoat. The undercoat can get easily knotted if not brushed daily. When we got Frankie, he was knotted alot, we worked days grooming him by hand with a clipper to unknott everything.

A Reputable breeder is amust. There are many websites you can find a good puppy on like Puppy Find. In a Yorkiepoo or any other breeder, they should never keep their dogs outside, never meet half way or have one dropped off. Always good and evalute a breeder and determine whether or not the dog's living conditions are efficent. They should be raised in a home, and females should never be over breed, this could cause health problems in the mother and pups. The dogs should be well groomed, The Breeder should Openly let you come see the pups. The Puppies should be lively, alert and never have anything on their skin or in their eyes. Sneezing in young puppies can be early breathing issues.. Always handle the puppy you want first. If it stays still in your hands it will probably be more calmer than most other puppies. If it squiggles more it will be more active. Do not rush, take your time in finding a good puppy.
